*For Everybody Going Solo*
« on: May 23, 2014, 06:49:16 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I noticed there are a bunch of people going to the event alone. I understand that we will all probably meet a ton of people there, but at the same time I think it would be cool to semi know other people beforehand. So, I am going alone for my first time as well. I'm going to be camping the full time ,also. Mind you, I've never camped before so this should be interesting. So if anyone wants to chit chat before let me know. I would love to get to know some people and maybe have tent neighbors  :D My email is kayewarhola@gmail.com if you wanna drop a line or respond to this. Have a great day!!!

xoxo
Annie

I guess my biggest concern is how the crap am I gonna haul everything in by myself. I've never set up camp before anywhere so that should be interesting, and entertaining for others to watch. I've never been to a large extended day festival. Also, just being a girl alone is kinda worrisome. Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited just a bit panicky as well.  :) First timer jitters I guess.

I'm in the same boat.  I live near the site so I feel safe since it's going to be like camping in my backyard...lol...
I am buying a folding cart at walmart.  It's like a wagon so easy to put all my stuff in and just pull it...

I want to go to TW this year but I'm hesitating going completely solo myself. I haven't bought tickets or lodging yet and am looking for other soloers to go together with. If anyone wants to book some tix with me, let me know.

My wing girl found a restrictive new boyfriend, so I'm going solo as well.  Leaving Tuscaloosa, AL (U of A) and arriving pretty early, on Thursday.  Anyone interested in camping supplies check out the links below.

This is gonna be my first TomorrowWorld, going solo and skipping a few days of college classes for this haha! My friends planned to go but one by one they changed their minds due to finances/classes/etc.. I really wanna camp in Dreamville but I'll be flying in from Minneapolis so buying/bringing all that camping gear will cost more than flying in. I'll be staying at a motel just 0.4 miles away from Sheraton Atlanta Downtown so hopefully the shuttle service runs frequently! Hope to tons of new friends at TomorrowWorld! Hit me up, solo TomorrowWorld people! tan.israel@gmail.com
Can't wait to be there!!

Hey.  Not sure if you were aware there are hotels by the airport also that offer free pick up from the airport and shuttles to/from also.  If you would like any more info just let me know.

Ahh good to hear you're at least going. Dreamville is half of what makes TW so great man. Hopefully next year you get a chance to experience it! But I hear you on the finances. Walmart typically has some decent deals, a lot of people fly in, go buy gear, food, drinks, and all that, then they just leave it there at the fest. If the shuttle doesn't run frequently, there should be a good number of people doing the same thing, going back and forth to hotels and what not and I'm sure you'll make some friends who would be more than willing to give you a ride. It is quite a distance from Atlanta city limits to the TW grounds though, about 15-25 minutes depending where you're staying.

Hey  :) Im thinking about going, but to go by myself is really scary to me  :-\ I live in Fort Lauderdale and was also looking at the bus option, but I'm definitely not gonna be camping. 1st, we just did at Tomorrowland  ;D and second just so you know I'm a bit older. 34   8) But I still know how to have fun  ;D So if you're still interested in some female company, let me know  ;)
